A powerful story like this should be written so simply and honestly, as this one has been, with no embellishment, no judgment, and no deliberate leading of the reader to any specific conclusions…The book will lead you into the main character’s slow, downhill spiral to terrifying self-destruction, until eyes wide open, he literally must choose life or death. You will fathom the lessons that he has to learn the hard way, and perhaps agree with his resolution.
